- Grow your relationship with Jesus and build up your faith in Him as you practice the spiritual discipline of prayer.
- Humble your heart as you earnestly ask God to allow His heart to take precedence in your life.
- Rekindle a desire in you to depend solely on the Gospel as these prayers remind us how Jesus is Prophet, Priest and King.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Guidelines
You're about to bow in the presence of the Lord as you take the next hour to pray. In one sense this is an extremely serious time because the Lord of Hosts is an Almighty God whose power and glory know no bounds. In another sense, this is an exceedingly joyful time because we know that we have been redeemed by Christ, and our relationship with the Almighty God has been reconciled. He hears us!

- Grab a Bible. Any Bible will do, but we recommend a physical Bible as our devices can be distracting or die on us.
- Find a room that will help you to focus. Whether it is a secluded room like a closet, or next to a window looking out on Main Street, you know what setting is easiest for you to focus in.
